The Beginning

On January 31, 2026, Hollowside Games was created as the next greatest game studio to enter the gaming scene. Hollowside was founded by Warrior and I with the mindset of becoming a studio that others could give their great ideas to, and get them turned into a reality. With the power of my past programming knowledge, expertise, and business knowledge, I was able to create this company and studio into something that could potentially thrive later. Starting out as a Roblox group, the company later expanded into Roblox games, later branching off from the platform into creating its own game engine, the Obsidian Engine. Although Obsidian is still in the works, it will later be the game engine that fuels the great ideas of our studio, as well as many others that will start in the future.

What's Happening Now

Hollowside is still in its development process. The website is actively evolving, scripts are being written, and the game engine is actively being programmed, all by me, SenDev. Juggling these three tasks has proven to be immensely hard, but I have a vision for the studio: Help the public now, help those behind it later. With the ability to have a clear roadmap for the studio, I know this will make it farther than a studio that was too overwhelmed to begin something real.

What's Happening in the Future

Although Hollowside is still actively having the source code being laid out for the technology it needs, I still have a clear head for the future of everything. The website will be a lot more accessible for those than it is now, the game engine will be public for everyone to use, and the games will be hosted on the website with a custom installer when you purchase them on your PC. Games made from Hollowside will also optionally be able to be bought from platforms such as:
